But they end up devaluing their work and making their brand look cheap.

Niche Down

What makes you buy it’s the idea that your problems will be gone.

You buy a car to solve the problem of going to different places fast,

You buy a luxury car to solve the problem of being perceived as low status,

You buy a faster car to solve the problem of lacking thrill and adrenaline.

Every purchase you make comes down to solving one specific problem,

and each specific problem comes with its specific market.

If you think about the example, each one of these specific cars is sold by different agencies,

This big agency doesn’t try to sell everything to anything,

So why would you do it?

Making your offer the perfect solution to a specific problem will make it more valuable.

You’ll be perceived as the expert on that problem,

And people will trust you more for that, making them more likely to buy.

Understand Each Problem

To solve one problem you need to think about the little problems that surround it.

Alex Hormozi makes a great example of this in his book $100M Offers.

If we take “losing weight” as the big problem we’ll solve,

Then we should think on the little problems that surround it:

  • Buying healthy food: What food?, where to buy it?, how to buy it in a budget?
  • Going to the gym: What gym?, what equipment do I need?, what should I do if I don’t have that equipment or can’t go to a gym?
  • Working out: What routine should I do?, what are the best workouts to lose weight?, how can I make my workout faster if I don’t have time?

If you help people solve every problem that comes to achieving their dream outcome then your offer will be a no-brainer to them.

Solve Future Problems

Every new milestone comes with new problems.

If people lose weight in 60 days then new problems will come:

  • How do they maintain that body?
  • How do they keep up consistency?
  • How do they stay in the right mindset?

Solving these doubts and adding them as bonuses,

This will make your offer be perceived as even more valuable.

Because you’re not only helping them in the present but also in their future.

This is how you sell something for more money.

You need to make it look like it’s cheap compared to the value it has.

To make your offer worth 10x more you don’t have to reinvent everything.

You just need to:

  • Help a specific person.
  • Solve each problem that surrounds the big problem.
  • Solve the future problems that the outcome will have.

Making this will prevent your offer from looking generic and cheap.
